Imvizar Launches $100,000 Creator Fund to Accelerate the Future of Immersive Storytelling
Eirmersive member company Imvizar has announced a major new initiative designed to support creators entering the world of immersive content, with the launch of the $100,000 Lureo Creator Fund. The fund will reward creators who build and publish experiences on Lureo, Imvizar’s no-code immersive storytelling platform, and marks another significant step in the company’s mission to make spatial storytelling accessible to everyone.

Founded by Michael Guerin, Imvizar has established itself as one of Ireland’s leading immersive technology companies, creating augmented reality experiences for organisations including Salesforce, Google, Grant Thornton, IRFU and Bupa, with more than 150 productions deployed across 12 countries. At the heart of its creator ecosystem is Lureo, a platform that enables users to design and publish location-based and immersive experiences through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, without the need for coding or engineering expertise.
The newly announced Creator Fund will provide direct financial rewards to creators who publish content on the platform. According to Imvizar, participants will be able to earn payouts for published templates, receive ongoing royalties when other creators use their scenes, and unlock additional bonus rewards throughout the year.
Announcing the initiative, Michael Guerin said that Lureo was built with a simple mission: to make immersive storytelling accessible to everyone. The launch of the Creator Fund reflects the company’s belief that the next generation of storytellers will increasingly move beyond traditional screen-based formats and begin creating experiences that interact with the physical world.
The fund is also intended to support creators making the transition from traditional 2D content and video production into immersive and spatial experiences. By lowering technical barriers and introducing new revenue opportunities, Imvizar hopes to encourage a wider community of creatives to experiment with location-based storytelling and interactive content creation.
Lureo has already positioned itself as a powerful no-code platform for immersive content creation, allowing studios, marketers, educators and storytellers to develop rich, interactive experiences that transform physical locations into engaging digital environments. Its mobile-first approach and ease of use have made it an important tool for organisations seeking to create spatial experiences at scale.
At Eirmersive, we welcome initiatives that strengthen Ireland’s immersive ecosystem and provide practical pathways for creators to develop sustainable careers in immersive media. Creator-focused funding programmes such as this play an important role in expanding the talent pipeline, supporting experimentation, and accelerating adoption of immersive technologies across creative industries.
