Extended Reality (XR) technologies — including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality — are transforming how we teach, learn, and prepare for an immersive future. EduXR26 brings together educators, researchers, industry partners, and learners to share experiences, strengthen networks, and forge new connections within our growing XR community. This one-day, in-person symposium takes place on May 12th at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Athlone campus. We welcome all submissions on immersive technologies in education and training. The ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences (IMX) is the leading international conference for presentation and discussion of research into interactive media experiences. Gemma Forde advises on corporate governance, legal structure, fundraising / licensing, commercial contracts, data protection, employment law to charities, non for profit entities and social enterprises. She will speak about the various types of intellectual property and developing and protecting your IP portfolio.
Declan Fahy is the Founder and Sales Director of HoloToyz, "driving innovation in interactive play". Previously, he spent 15+ years at Independent News & Media (now Mediahuis) as Head of Digital and Agencies. Declan will speak about "Unlocking value - how IP fuels start up success."
