Member Spotlight: Why Salesforce uses Augmented Reality for Employee Engagement

Salesforce, the world's leading cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform, is a client of Eirmersive member Imvizar.

At Eirmersive’s ‘Outward’ event in Dublin last year, Claire Rowley, Global Lead for Employee Engagement at Salesforce gave a wonderful presentation explaining why they used Augmented Reality from Imvizar for employee engagement. As Claire says, “Immersive storytelling brings Employee Engagement possibilities to a whole new level.”

In a recent update Claire notes, “This presentation was last year and I'm proud to say the app has evolved by adding an experience to learn about Agentforce, a Salesforce family app with games and AI facts and an upcoming Life at Salesforce app where employees and candidates will be able to use office 'portals' and walk around our offices from anywhere in the world. I ❤️ innovation”

So do we, and we love it even more when our member companies are the ones delivering it, on a global stage!

In other Imvizar news Ireland’s largest mural just went digital when the startup launched an AR experience with artist Sean Atmos, made possible by Google at Bolands Mills.

Imvizar COO Adele Keane explains, “Bláthú, meaning “to bloom” in Irish, is a multi-sensory, AR-enabled mural, inspired by the architectural lines of Bolands Mills and the natural beauty of Irishtown Nature Park. A key part of this piece was making it inclusive for neurodiverse audiences, with guidance from AsIAm - Ireland’s Autism Charity and NIRP (Neurodiversity, Irishtown, Ringsend and Pearse Street).”

See a short video clip on Sean Atmos’ LinkedIn, and get along to Canal Bank Lane, just off Barrow Street in Dublin 4, to experience Bláthú through the Imvizar app.
