The momentum behind spatial computing continues to build, with Imvizar marking two significant milestones that demonstrate both the growing adoption of immersive technologies and the importance of developing the next generation of creators.

In August it delivered its first SPECS x Salesforce experience at Salesforce Tower Dublin, building on the success of an earlier mobile augmented reality activation that attracted thousands of downloads. The experience has now been adapted for AR smart glasses, giving participants an opportunity to engage with digital content in a more immersive and intuitive way.

The activation once again highlighted one of the most compelling aspects of wearable augmented reality: the speed at which first-time users become comfortable with the technology. Despite having little or no previous exposure to AR glasses, participants quickly embraced the experience, demonstrating how accessible and engaging spatial computing is becoming.

Following the successful Dublin showcase, the team is preparing to bring the experience to Salesforce Tower London, continuing its work to introduce organisations to the potential of immersive technologies and smart glasses.

At the same time, Imvizar is taking steps to ensure that the skills required for this emerging future are accessible to everyone.

The company has announced that Lureo for Education, its no-code spatial storytelling platform, is now available free of charge to schools, colleges and universities. The initiative removes many of the traditional barriers associated with teaching and learning augmented reality, including software costs, technical complexity and coding requirements.

As industries ranging from media and communications to architecture, tourism and urban planning increasingly adopt immersive technologies, demand is growing for spatial computing skills that move beyond traditional screen-based experiences. Through Lureo, educators can enable students to create location-based AR experiences without writing a single line of code, making immersive content creation more accessible than ever before.

The programme also offers a range of supports for educational institutions, including curriculum integration, practical workshops, guest lectures and collaborative hackathons designed to help students develop real-world spatial storytelling skills and build portfolio-ready projects.

Together, these developments reflect a clear vision for the future of immersive technology. While initiatives such as the Salesforce SPECS deployment demonstrate how organisations are already embracing smart glasses and spatial experiences today, Lureo for Education is helping cultivate the talent that will shape the industry tomorrow.

By making immersive technology easier to experience, create and teach, Imvizar is helping bridge the gap between adoption and education, ensuring that spatial computing is not only accessible to businesses, but also to the students who will drive its next chapter of innovation.
